Announcing Open Enrollment & APR Changes
Effective January 1, applications to the Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia will be accepted year-round. Champion and Bronze applications will be considered upon completion. Silver and Gold applications will be considered on a quarterly basis, except National Environmental Performance Track joint-applications will still only be considered in the Spring and Fall.
In addition, all Champion and Bronze Partners will now be required to submit an Annual Performance Report (APR) every year regardless of time in the program. Silver and Gold Partners will continue to submit APRs under the current program guidelines. We hope these changes will make it easier for prospective Partners to join the program and easier for Partnership staff to market and manage the program.
Free EMS Training
The Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia and the Georgia Environmental Partnership will offer free environmental management system (EMS) training for Partners January 10. The first session will be held 8-11:30 a.m. to look at the basics of an EMS, including the specific requirements for Bronze and Silver Partners. The afternoon session will be 1-4 p.m. to explore a common sense approach to environmental aspects and impacts analysis. Partners can attend one or both training sessions at no cost. Sign up now.
