APRS Due April 30

In order to publicize the results of our Partners’ environmental efforts, we require all Partners to report to us on their environmental program, goals, and progress each year. 2008 Annual Performance Reports (APRs) are due April 30. Due to information technology limitations, those who joined the Partnership recently through our new Sustainable Office Toolkit (SOT) track will report via an online survey. All Champion Partners will also complete an online survey to serve as an annual report and renewal of commitment. All other Partners will submit your APR through the P²AD online system. Please note, Gold and Silver Partners that joined in fall 2007 do not have to submit an APR this year.

Retreat Presentations Now Available

The 2008 Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia Green Retreat at Red Top Mountain State Park was a great success, providing more than 50 Partners with the opportunity to network and learn about climate change challenges such as carbon offsets, potential regulation and carbon footprinting. They also learned how they can plug into regional water planning efforts in the coming months. “If you’re not at the table, you’ll be on the menu” seemed to be the take-away message relating to the future role of carbon and water in doing business. View presentations from the retreat to learn more about these important topics. We also ask all retreat participants to please complete this brief online survey.

Free Environmental Workshops

In April and May, Georgia Environmental Partnership will hold the Spring 2008 Environmental Network meetings. Attendance is free and topics will include e-waste, CO2 footprints, and the pandemic flu. For dates and locations, see the calendar or click here.
