Water — Use It Wisely

Georgia historically has been considered a water-rich state. However, with a state population expected to nearly double in the next 30 years, our water supplies will face increasing demands. Water conservation is essential if we hope to preserve our water resources for future generations.

In June 2004, P²AD acquired the rights to an award-winning public awareness campaign that highlights tips to reduce household water use. The “Water — Use It Wisely” campaign’s proven, positive, call-to-action closely matched water conservation messaging needs in Georgia, that were determined by public surveys and focus groups.

“Water — Use It Wisely” is built around more than 100 tips showing colorful, eye-catching devices associated with saving water. The campaign's slogan is, “There are a number of ways to save water... and they all start with you.”

If you are interested in helping us promote the campaign, please contact David Gipson at 404-657-5208 or david_gipson@p2ad.org.
