The Division offers a variety of programs to assist Georgia's citizens, businesses, governments, and institutions in preventing waste. Technical assistance is provided in response to phone inquiries, electronic communications, mail, workshops, and on-site visits. Assistance is free, confidential, and non-regulatory in nature. P²AD's technical staff can assist you with many aspects of pollution prevention, including, but not limited to the following:
- reduction of waste
- reuse of waste
- recycling of waste
- water and energy efficiency
- equipment or technology modifications
- substitution of raw materials
- housekeeping and maintenance improvements
- training
- inventory control
Specific services include on-site assessments, seminars and workshops, recycling/solid waste assistance and agricultural P2 assistance.
