Green Hotels in Georgia

How Can I Green My Property? | Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia | Fats, Oils and Grease | EPA Energy Star for Hospitality

Lodging properties throughout Georgia are taking measures to reduce the environmental impacts of their operations and their use of Georgia’s natural resources. P²AD provides assistance to those that have joined the P²AD Partnership Program, and commends these organizations for their efforts. Through the P²AD Partnership Program, P²AD recognizes businesses seeking to reduce the environmental impacts of their operations; P²AD also provides on-site technical assistance to those properties that join.

Some hotels/lodges in Georgia are certified by Green Seal, an independent certifying organization, as having met Green Seal’s standard for environmental lodging properties. Green Seal publishes this standard at http://www.greenseal.org/certification/standards/lodgingproperties.cfm and maintains a list of certified green hotels at http://www.greenseal.org/programs/lodging_properties.cfm.

P²AD applauds the Georgia properties that have met Green Seal’s rigorous green lodging standard, as well as those that are working toward greening their operations through the P²AD Partnership Program.
